Don't know if I'm right, but this is my interpretation of the song, from the perspective of someone who has been in love with a girl:
"We've waited so damn long, we're sick and tired"
He's saying he's felt this way for awhile, and can't wait any longer to tell her how he feels, the possibility of a relationship has waited for so long.
"I won't leave any doubt or stone unturned"
He can't go on without telling her how he feels, and needs to know whether or not she feels that way, aka he won't leave any stone unturned.
"I've got a collar full of chemistry from your company"
He feels something with her, they always have a good time together.
"So maybe tonight I'll be the libertine"
A libertine, being reckless, he wants to tell her how he feels, regardless of the consequences.
"Show me your love, your love
Gimme more but it's not enough"
He wants her to love him in the same way he loves her, he feels it's not enough
"Show me your love, your love
Before the world catches up"
Not exactly sure what he means by "before the world catches up," but perhaps it's a love that is looked down on society, and he wants her to show him her love before the rest of the world disapproves it and gets to her head.
"'Cause there's always time for second guesses, I don't wanna know"
If she's having doubts, or second guesses, he doesn't want her to think about it now.
"If you're gonna be the death of me, that's how I wanna go"
He feels that the pain of being rejected is worth not telling her, and even if it kills him, it was worth it.
"You've got it all worked out with so little time"
Perhaps she's already with someone in this verse, and she feels as if she's already planned her life, but he knows that she's moving to fast in so little time.
"Memories that I'd blackout if you were mine"
He's saying if he were her, he would forget the other guy because she's not good for him.
"You've got a pocket full of reasons why you're here tonight"
He's saying that she's here with the singer, spending time with him and not the other guy for a reason.
"So, baby, tonight just be the death of me"
A reference to the chorus, he is going to tell her how he feels, even if it is the death of him.

Beautiful song.
