This song is NOT about atheism or anything really related, this song is about how governments and the over the top ignorance, antagonizing, and hostility that currently surrounds us has tainted his religion. "There is no god, that can love this world" means that the person thinks that because of all the turmoil, he is starting to question if god can save him
Its either that or the song is a metaphor for someone who has lost all hope and that he has no support from anyone in his life(ie "god")
@BorkLaser It never ceases to amaze me how far theists will reach to claim that EVERY song is religious, and NO song is anti-religious. Wow. Slow clap for you on this one.

Not only is not a single word in this song a reference to "government", if you can't see that this song is anti-religious with lines like this:
Not only is not a single word in this song a reference to "government", if you can't see that this song is anti-religious with lines like this:
Divine judgment, I could never believe
Fear in the face of the unknown
Force fed to the masses with the promise of salvation
There is no god that could love this world
I find no comfort in a life lived on my knees
Superstition...
Divine judgment, I could never believe
Fear in the face of the unknown
Force fed to the masses with the promise of salvation
There is no god that could love this world
I find no comfort in a life lived on my knees
Superstition rules in the land of the weak
Nothing lasts forever
...then it's not surprising that you're religious. You're accustomed to ignoring your reason.
