- It can be 2 people. One is in the friendzone, and the other person actually loves them but they're hurt from the past and they don't want to be hurt anymore, even though they loved each other. The one in the friendzone, is hurt, asking why doesn't the other person love them, when the other person thinking of just being friends actually does like them, but they just don't want to get hurt anymore/think it's a bad idea.
