My interpretation: An a-typical break-up song. At first I thought this was a revenge song about someone that got dumped. That was before I really listened to it. I stopped for a second to feel her pain expressed through the strain in her voice. She is not mad at anyone but herself. She feels bad about what happened and how things ended. She recognizes that it was too late to get sober, but was bitter that you left her none the less. The last stanza is the most defining. She feels so much loss, and pain that she can't see anything but. She desires more struggle to bare her guilt for what she has done to you. She wishes you no more pain now that she has awakened, won't cause you no trouble no more.
