@xiiBrokenTV I guess anyone could make the lyrics to any song pertain to themselves and their culture. If this song was about the Jewish faith why would he use such a Christian centric metaphor? I think this song is about soldiers returning home from the Middle East to a country that doesn't wholly appreciate their sacrifice...See I just made this song pertain to something that the author probably didn't even consider whilst he was writing this.
