I think this song is about kicking back, having a drink, and just having fun. Not everything has to have a deep meaning/depressing story. That might be why she referenced Kurt Cobain...he wrote a lot of songs with deep meanings, but he also wrote songs that literally made no sense and were just jokes (Smells Like Teen Spirit, anyone?).
