I saw this more as a song about drug use than a literal fight song.

Everyone's trying to tell him he need help, but he disagrees, and as for the fight I saw this as having a double meaning. Part of him knows what he's doing ain't good for him, but he's going to "put up a good fight" and try to control it, and also fight the people who are trying to tell him how to live his life
