I agree with the interpretation that the song is about NEET internet trolls, and I have something to add about this line in particular:
"Oh, you got the pop in the hiss
In the city of misfits, you know"
I believe the actual lyric is "pop AND the hiss," and it would make sense if she's referring to hedgehog behavior. When hedgehogs feel threatened or just plain pissed off, they hiss and exhibit "popping" behavior, which is what it's called when they curl up and jerk/jump with their spines all up.
The lyric makes me think of the dumb little fights you see in internet comment threads, especially on sites like 4chan which are made up of people competing to be the biggest/toughest asshole. Having the "pop and the hiss" in the "city of misfits" is being the toughest and nastiest loser- but still a loser.
