However, to me it seems a little different.
It sounds like the (especially in the chorus) that a dead person is singing to someone who regrets the soured relationship they shared towards the end of the singer's days. The deceased singer is urging their friend/partner to move on instead of continuing to feel guilty and miserable to the point where it becomes frustrating for them to observe (I don't wanna hear you talk about it anymore).
