Awesome song. Forgot about these guys for a while. It almost has to be about either two ppl in a relationship that are realizing their differences and are trying to go their separate ways, or just trying to be diff from the rest of the world in general. It's most likely meant to be the former, or something similar, but I like to think the latter. "We(referring to all ppl) are out of our minds" doing the things we do, and the way we are, and most all the same. We can't keep living like this forever, so run from the 'ordinary'. Escape and lose your old self, to become better and/or diff from everyone else, or the 'ordinary'.
