I think that this song - to mean this song means - about the singer's soulmate. To me - when i listen to this song - somehow comes onto my mind someone who is my soulmate but he still lives in another world, in another time, in another dimension. Basically i believe in spiritual stuffs and i feel like she was singing about her soulmate who did not die yet and did not reborn they way she was and they place where she lives now. They cannot meet, they cannot see each other again (who knows how long) and they cannot reach out for each other. Time instantly sets them apart as she sings...
