For me this is a song about the hypocrisy of Christian identity in the western world.
The opening lines is clearly commenting on someone calling out to God for help and receiving nothing in return. The chorus comments on the luxury cars parked in a Church yard, that are at odds with simple Christian teachings of giving much to those less fortunate.
According to wiki - there is a line in the bible about the eye of the needle ' It is easier, in fact, for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into the kingdom of God.' Mat. 19.24 and Mark 10.25

Riches can bring "a snare" to quote the Bible in 1 Timothy 6:9, "But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition". And again in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows". LOVING money is the problem though money in itself where used appropriately and unselfishly can bring...
