I think the song is about mainstream media society and how the music industry is killing the talent of today's artists and their music with what they want them to do.Today's music artists are just greedy for the fame and not actually doing it for the music. This song basically is about the music industry being corrupt and music artists today selling crap music just for money and people actually buy that shit.
