At risk of degrading the incredible detail and very pensive expression of these lyrics, I'm going to say very simply (without being a female myself), that they seem to be a fairly in-depth description of the way society continues to look upon, treat and condition women to be. Both in a clear, articulate and yet painfully empathetic viewpoint, somehow Trish expresses everything that 'is' quite objectively, in that she calls out all unfairness without pointing a finger.
