The first point to make is that this tune is sung by Todd the Rod and his faaaaaaaaaavourite issue is refugees as he works with a lot of refugee support groups.
So the refugees are the ones dying under the sun and scratching at our paradise. They want a road to the west.
It's a hard one to translate this one with no clear point or dialogue. You get the vibe that if anyone in power in the west, presidents, journos, politicians, judges etc etc had to suffer what any refugees suffer (dying under the cooking sun etc) our policy around borders and illegal arrivals would be starkly different.
The shit at the end I read as absolute frustration at not being able to make a positive change for these peoples plight (I wont pretend that we are on the winning end) .
