I have a love-hate thing with this song. I love her vocals and the music and melody. But i don't like the words. It seems to me that having jet lag and being hungover are typically bad experiences, and so they are bad examples of how one feels when they are in love. But i love to sing along with the song, because of the other reasons i mentioned. I love her voice and mine fits well with hers, so singing along with her songs is fun for me. I used to have this album and found myself having similar opinions of other songs on it, loving the vocals, melody, and music, but disliking the lyrics. A lot of the relationship experiences written about in the songs seem to be from an immature perspective -- which makes sense, because she was quite young when she wrote that album. I just hope she has grown and continues to grow into her talent and that her song-writing skills improve.
@h0neyw1ne i understand your response. I thought jet lag was cool because of this song, until I experienced it myself. Just I could understand the drunk part. As alcohol can give one a sense of ease and empowerment.

@h0neyw1ne I feel the same. I don’t understand how not being able to sleep is anything close to being in love
