I think the message that the artist is trying to get across is that we do all of these things oblivious to what we're actually doing. We have all of these emotions we keep inside, we think things are wrong but we don't do anything about it. I think he's really annoyed that people do these things with no compassion. My favourite line is "when my sister suffers I am my mother's child" not meaning the obvious that he is her offspring but he suffers aswell knowing she's in pain. It's really some amazing, criptic lyrics that go perfectly with the catchy tune
