Okay so this song has a strong meaning. I'm going to break it down from the beginning

Okay in this verse Vic is trying to state how he is trying to forget this girl. Something really bad must have happened because it suggests he is drinking alcohol to remove her memory. "The taste of blood remains" suggests she did something bad to him, because blood usually happens after pain and if he's still bleeding over this girl it must have been pretty terrible. "Cold empty mattresses" obviously means he's sleeping alone now. The line about the stars I interpreted as the days are starting to get repetitive and it's getting tiring. Stars are something meant to be beautiful and if you only see them as bland anymore it's not a good sign.

He doesn't think that's a good idea though because it's not like he's impressed. This part of the song slowly changes mood into instead of mourning her disappearance he's beginning to get over her and realize it was her fault. He says shes just another human. She will die.
