Well unfortunately, I'm not here to really "pontificate" on what I think the message is Andy is trying to convey. However, I will say this is by far the best track on the new album. It is the closest sounding to their older stuff, but also it seems to be the best written in terms of dynamic, chord progression, and overall "distortion"
It seems he's talking about an accident he saw, and is trying to tell someone how precious life is.. but they seem apathetic and don't wanna hear about it.
Like he/she can't be bothered with what happened on the interstate, they are just mad bc he's late or something trivial like that. Obvi I'm spectulating, but you see what I mean
