wow,no comment? okay- that first of all, this song is the best Disney song ever made. beats everything with one hand around its back. i think this song has so many interpretations i cant write it all in one comment' but ill try to make the most of it.

this song is of course an empowerment song, but not necessarily a good empowerment. "No right, no wrong, no rules for me"- it could be an evil song just like that. sounds like jafar when he became a jini. with great power comes great responsibility, and she is still a child. she gave-up on her self completely. she keeps telling herself that shes okay with the cold\isolation and that she only needs herself. infact all the pepole were just keeping her down from herself. and we saw that around other pepole after the song she still couldnt use her powers. "let the storm rage on"- her feelings. shes basically a teen who didnt grow up because of a missed childhood, so now when she is an adult, she wants to smash her limits and explore herself. the church and the state were keeping her away from her abilities and imagination so now when she gave up on everything, she tries to built a new world for her, but she still cant let go of the past (anna). family is the most important column of our life no mater how hard we try to convince yourself. "the past is in the past"- only pepole who dont really feel that way say it, trying to believe it. another very important meaning is that humanity can climb up and be god, but only if we forget all the rules socaiety gave us. shes giving up on her queens outfit, witch symbolizes the monarchy + church + state. all the ideals which keep extremely harsh rules on all human kind only so we could live with each other. if we could forget about morals and use all of our powers. we could imagine everything and bring it too life. her powers represent human imagination. and when she put her white dress (divine color) and walked like a sexual person, shes saying shes free as an animal. when she climbs on the staircase over the pit, it means we can conquer everything with our imagination. and she make a palace and a snowman out of nothing, it says that we r the true gods of earth and we r the true creators.

I don't think of this song as an evil one, how can you think so? Elsa really differs from Jafar, she wasn't as cruel as him. I just love the part when she says "I'm not going back, the past is in the past" which means we don't have be to be trapped into the past, because it's gone, and the best thing to do is to try to make a new and happy life. I guess you're taking it too hard: Monarchy? True creators?! Come on, it's only an animation for kids - and also teens, and adults who still...
