Kill the DJ Lyrics

I think the song could be about many things. The more obvious one being the club scene's decline (though it has been pretty much this way forever anyway) and the DJ being the center. But I think it's probably more of a metaphor than that since GD seems to use those quite a bit. I personally think it's more about societal issues. DJ of often used as a term to refer to a coordinator or leader or something along those lines. Thinking about, that, this song could be applied to many things, drugs and politics being two of the many. Basically, you could pick off the members of the issue (druggies, dealers etc) one by one but nothing would actually change unless you took the issue out at its source (drug supplier/creator/whatever). It's also referring to a situation where "the bullet you asked for killing you to death", making drugs or [bad] politics really easy interpretations.

My Interpretation

Also, I think politics or something similar is more likely because of lines like "onward Christian soldiers" which implies mindless followers doing deeds that end up backfiring on them anyway "the bullet... to death"

Sorry, "On with Christian soldiers Filled with jivin' mind control"

(also the dance floor/battle ground etc)
