This is a song about heartbreak, and drug abuse.

Graceless Is there a powder to erase this? Is it dissolvable and tasteless? You can't imagine how I hate this Graceless

He feels dead inside and wants to get stoned to feel better.

The next verse is very much the same, explaining how he can't find his "sunny side"

I'm trying, but I'm gone Through the glass again Just come and find me God loves everybody, don't remind me I took the medicine and I went missing Just let me hear your voice, just let me listen

He's gone through the glass literally means he's using Glass. He wants her to "find him" or, y'know, get high with him again. He doesn't want to think about God's love because it doesn't matter to him. He took the "medicine" (pills) and got stoned. In the last line, he begs for her to come for him.

The next verse does not fit as well and is quite literal. not my favourite.

All of my thoughts of you Bullets through rotten fruit Come apart at the seams Now I know what dying means

Whe he says "bullets through rotten fruit" he means that when he thinks of her he remembers how she hurt him when he was already broken. She was a bullet and he was rotten fruit. Now he feels like he is falling apart and dying.

I am not my rosy self Left my roses on my shelf Take the white ones, they're my favorites It's the side effects that save us

He's not who he used to be. He left the pills on the shelf. Join me, take the white ones. The side effect (getting stoned) will save us

Grace Put the flowers you find in a vase If you're dead in the mind it will brighten the place Don't let them die on the vine, it's a waste Grace

The "flowers" pills in a vase "swallow" they will make you feel beter too. If we throw them away that'd be a waste.

There's a science to walking through windows without you

(It's hard to fly without you)
