Riding about on my bike
And as always could only hope
The police don't pull me over
Because then I would have to pay a fine
And be led to the interrogation
And my poor little bike
Would stand alone in front of the door
Oh how I love my bike
Why, that I don't exactly know
I will be faithful to my bike
In contrast to my wife
I will never leave it
I will never go from it
Because we fly as if on clouds
Since we understand each other so well
Every booger drives an Opel
Every monkey drives a Ford
Every buffoon drives a Porsche
Every ass an Audi Sport
Every weirdo drives a Manta
Every fool a Jaguar
Only aficionados ride a bike
And always get there more quickly
My bike is not purple
Because that doesn't turn me on at all
It's also not brown
Because I can't stand brown
No, I've had it painted blue
from the saddle to the innertube
& I think that says it appropriately
Because I'm also sometimes blue
