Great song, but sort of confusing at first sammy seeks to be forgiven by God but then he changes to saying that instead of looking outside ourselves (God) for answers we should instead look into ourselves for what we desire. Could be that sammy is explaining his search for a higher power or force but in the ends believes that it just him and his thoughts or so to speak
