the first time i heard this song it moved something inside of my spirit/soul. i close my eyes and i can picture layne all around me, smiling, not hurting not in pain, just his beautiful image swirling around and i find comfort when i close my eyes and hear this song. different people hear and feel different things when they hear layne sing. this song is so different though. when i see him in my minds eye, all of his battles are finally over...finally, my sweet sweet layne, the pain is all gone...finally my love...i love you with all of my heart and soul...one day baby, my day will come and i too will have defeated the demons that haunt those of us that battle them daily...5 yrs clean and sober i made dec 4th 2013...i listen to you sing, i look at at your beautiful face from beginning to the end and it breaks my heart to see you gradually wither away from us...i dont want to wither, want to live and be strong and tell the people about this amazing fella with an amazing voice named layne thomas staley...just for today that is my mission...r.i.p.my sweet beautiful prince...
