She thinks he has some growing up to do, or has a tendency to do things (like flirt with other girls....could be drugs, too, as someone pointed out) that she disapproves of.... It seems these things she hates are beyond his control, or he's simply too stubborn to change his ways. They see things differently, & it's become obvious that they want different things, have different priorities. They'd argued over the same issues repeatedly, until all that was left to do was break up. They tried.
She lingers in his memories & he misses her terribly..or at least their happy times together. He hopes that someday they'll see eye to eye & find their way back to each other. Just not right now. When he sings "I'll see you someday", is it a promise or a wish?
And yes that guitar thing near the end is just too awesome & concludes the story perfectly..
