Dokken with Lynch was one of the best hair bands ever. When it comes to their lyrics, they're no Dio. I've never detected any hidden meaning beneath the surface of their songs, not that there isn't but I think in general they're pretty straight forward. I'm not detecting "Into the Fire" as being anything different. He's got the hots for a two-timing skank that he just can't get over and he's being "tempted once more".
