@brainmurphy I think that your explanation is spot on, perhaps the sun and moon bits could also refer to ideas. The sun could be the obvious, out there meaning that everyone just accepts, although there may be plenty of under thought flaws, while the moon can be the much darker, yet still beautiful truth. When I was little, I bought into the whole 'if you're good you go to Heaven, if you're bad you go to Hell' deal, (either way thinking about it now it sounds like a scummy thing for a mother to say to her kid) and I...

When I was little, I bought into the whole 'if you're good you go to Heaven, if you're bad you go to Hell' deal, (either way thinking about it now it sounds like a scummy thing for a mother to say to her kid) and I know that that's the common reception on ideas of Heaven and Hell, and what happens when we die. Later on in life there was an 'incident' and I found myself becoming a Christian. Actually learning about Christianity, I found out that (what I personally believe) you have to be Christian to go to Heaven, or at least 'know God' to put it bluntly. The Sun could be the common possible misconception (and could tie into the plethora of figurative language in the Bible that leads to a lot of skim thinking) while the moon represents the lesser known belief. "I can only make you see the Moon." "You can touch it but that's up to you."
