Moulinette Lyrics

This song has such a timeless, almost nostalgic feel to it that I can't help but feel it is a lover's ballad to a loved one, who they have been separated from for many years. They are reflecting on the past through an imagined conversation, yet there is hope that they shall be reunited, hence the 'at last, there will be sound above... gold far and wide, for the things of the past.'

It is a wonderful celebration of memories and youth and quite possibly one of Anna's best songs in terms of lyrics. The imagery is just sublime.
