Gospel, IMHO... it does describe a whorish betrayal, and resultant demise of the protagonist, admittedly- but WHY did Jason let his head be the subject of the song? He already knew what was coming... he can be your friend till the end- but he got pissed bout all the guys she kissed- She stabbed him... and we'll go down to the ditch to get what's left of Jason's head... She knew he'd drop by- just needed the out of the relationship, and could do nothing but bury him in a shallow grave- that's jealousy's end? When you wake up with the sun
