I think this song is about a young love, her and him were really close. The girls father finds out about them & thinks the boy is nothing but trouble. He tells her to never see him again. She ends up telling her boyfriend and her boyfriend was thinking about her and leaving that he loses control. When, she feels it happening she runs outside wishing he was still there to save him but, she realizes it was too late.
