To me this doesn't seem like a happy song about love... It sounds like someone who meant so much to her died.

Not to mention that in her official music video for this song she is alone, having visions of someone as if they are gone or far away... and eventually walks outside to what appears to be a mausoleum.
Honestly, when I first heard this song I thought it was about her lover breaking up with her and her trying to convince them not to go, until I saw the video and read over the lyrics. Now all I hear is deep loss and closure.
