I agree with everything already said -- I'm a little obsessed with this song and Imogen generally. What I really love here is that she initially presents very common, almost harmless hypocrisies in an increasingly threatening musical counterpoint. Nothing is as it appears to be and anyone could turn out to be a double-agent, even the accusing narrator, who thinks "blackmail" is "such an ugly word."
