I'm a massive Oomph! Fan and this is one of my favourite songs by them. I will tell you my interpretation of this song.

(You're like a seraphim, you're good to the bone. The slightest mending could not finely hone. You would not make it if you were on your own and this is why I'll never leave you alone.) This could be about someone who is considered to be bad who has met his opposite, someone who is seen as good and well behaved. Maybe a pessimist meeting an optimistic person? The pessimist saying you couldn't survive on your own due to their view that the world is a place which is there to make life a miserable place.

(You can't start from where I end. You can't start from where I end.) They are basically saying they are so deep within their thoughts and views that no one can change it.

(You walked into my trap and I let it spring because someone should take you under his wing. You felt the cleansing of my pain-killing sting. Now if you need some more just give me a ring.) Trap could refer to a relationship, that the two opposites entered into either a friendship or became lovers. Maybe something bad happened to the good person. The pessimist is saying he was right, it was refreshing to see his view point was right however it did hurt the other person. The ring bit explains itself, they will be a phone call away. The follow me home is a thought to take them where they are whether it thoughts or a physical place.

You can't start from where I end. You can't start from where I end. (Further on this could mean the optimistic, good person is changing their view on life but still the pessimist is saying they can't think that way as they been that way for a very long time.

(Unite and Take over. Create a supernova. Unite and Take over create a supernova.) In my opinion this means to join together, pessimist and optimist however you can't as there would be arguments about view points. A supernova is an explosion so I'm taking that as mean join together, share your views however an argument would occur.

(Give it to me. Give it to me. Give it to me. Give in to me.) This to me is coming to an end of the relationship and the pessimist is saying to give them the worst.

(You can start from where I am. You can start from where I am). Part of the argument, they can't be where they are as they are clinging to their old ways.

(Unite and Take over Create a supernova. Unite and Take over Create a supernova) This goes back to my point of an argument.

(Unite and take over. Now I´ve got you deep inside me. Unite and take over. Now I´ve got you deep inside my soul.) Either one of them has been touched by the other, their core values have made them think differently about their own view on life.

I am a pessimist, my other half is the opposite. Hence why I view the song as I do.
