Well, maybe this song is actually talking about a relationship but I like to interpret it like this:

When we need time, we rarely have/find it but it is there anyway and it is sufficient (i.e. We don't need more of it. We just need to learn how to spend it)

We are influenced (but not explicit obligated) to live in a way in which everything is immediate. Everything must be instantaneous and accomplished "until yesterday". Because of that, we're always in such a hurry that we don't have time to look for other people's life/problems or even the /world's (worst) problems: wars (people killing each other for economical/political interests), corruption, people dying of hunger/starving while so much money is being invested in high advanced and ultra expensive (and some unessential, in part) devices or luxuries which intention is not to serve the people/consumers but the business and money itself, making the rich richer and richer, sustaining the corporations and business and not the mankind nor the other living beings or the nature. The (most but not all) humans are "flying too high" (they're living as if the universe is moving around them, not the opposite).

But we don't see people (just some) questioning this lifestyle or trying to find and fight the causes of those problems. We're living a lie (and in a lie). We're just thinking we are the top in the list of this (and not "our") world and don't care for the rest/others ("Don't get on the phone" / "Don't reach for the door") if it/he/she are not on TV or if it doesn't have millions of views/likes...

We're just the most important living being of this world 'cause we have all the solutions/answers/power to take control of this world (we "know [all] the answer that [we]'re looking for).

My Interpretation
