At first I was reading the lyrics (I knew the song but I had to look up what the fuck he was saying... I'm new to hard core punk...) and at first I thought it was just a person (Davey) who's life is bleak. He dose nothing pretty much. But he thinks about going out and seeing what life can be... But then I got further into it. Davey says "two windows look back at me Three stories high and nothing is new" made me rethink everything. When he's talking about exploring out slide he means killing himself... I know it sounds weird because it seems like that comes around a lot in AFI. But he probably thinks nothing of himself, he dose nothing, he feels nothing. And some day he'll stand, like he said, and that'll be when he dose it, from three strikes high... see what's going on??? Yea, that's just my opinion that I'm giving at 1:24 am. I think it makes sense.
