I think this might be partially about Shayley (not sure if I spelled his name right) leaving the band. It seems like Austin's bummed he's leaving ("I'm gonna miss your face"). The part about not being good enough, I feel like that's him saying no one had faith in him, yet here he is, all famous and whatnot.
