This might just be my favorite song off of Frogstomp. Maybe even my favorite Silverchair song, in general. I've loved it ever since I first heard it. Anyway, I've read that it's about a friend of Daniel's who died in an Earthquake. If that's true, then that makes this a pretty sad song. A really good one, though.

Back then he did note compose anything about him, only about stuff he would watch on the TV. If you look at the list of victims from Newcastle's 1989 earthquake there are no kids. The younger person was 30 years old. So no, there was no childhood friend of Daniel Johns who died on this incident.
