Cover art for Hospital For Souls lyrics by Bring Me the Horizon

First off I would like to say that this is the first song I have ever herd of Bring Me the Horizon.

This song literally made me sick to my stomach the first time I herd it.

But not in a bad way this is one of those songs that just describes how you are feeling so well that you just break down and cry because it says everything you feel, and it actually makes your emotions real.

For me (because of my own addictions and struggles) this song is about a person that struggles with freeing themselves from an addiction. For me it was self harm, bulimia, and depression, and this song fits that perfectly.

The part where he says:

How are we on a scale of one to ten? You can tell me, what do you say? Do you wanna talk about it? How does that make you feel?

Have you ever took a blade to your wrists Have you've been skipping meals We're gonna try something new today How does that make you feel?

This is my whole life I spent time in rehab and I was asked these questions on an hourly basis. I would always want to scream at them because all i have ever wanted was for someone to just give me a hug and tell me its going to be ok. So when the lyrics below came up I just about lost it.

Hold me close, don't let go, watch me Hold me close, don't let go, watch me Hold me close, don't let go, watch me In this hospital for souls

This song describes my addiction to a T. I have listened to this song hundreds of times and I still cry when I hear it.

My Interpretation

Not much I can say here, other than me too. Fuck those lyrics speak to me.

@Enterprise143 I think those lyrics specifically, are pretty much exactly about what you're talking about. They really hit me hard too
