For me this is about when you disclose too much honesty in a relationship it can spoil things. Some stuff is best left unsaid. All the honesty has shut him down(he's lost who he was) She is telling him to leave but he is making a rocking horse getaway, thus just staying. He wants out and never really wanted the relationship in the first place. Bored but not strong enough to resist her as she bowls him over. Colliding (fighting and making up) is the only enjoyment they have left.
