I think,I'm not sure but, to me this song sounds like rainbows point of view on tour. There in a place there never see again or be there for a long time. Also on a street they've never seen before. to me the line "I was never here. Just a faint reflection" sounds like him standing back out of the light in the back as someone that is only just there. Also the line "a second of affection" sounds to me like. Everyone giving him a second of affection and move on to the next band member to see as he stands back and watchs. That's just what I think.
