while i cant speak for the ENTIRE song, i do think that from 4:04 to 5:02, the "Overcome by circumstance" part, i think that its about how hes trying to fix his problems or stop his bad habits, but is having a hard time doing it alone, and needs this girl to help him "barricade the door" or break his habit. when he says he wont go there anymore, hes saying that hed stop for her, and when hes saying that if he could just get through to her, the could put in the final screws to barricade the door, hes saying that she is the missing peice in his life and ultimately, the only thing that can help him.
