I always thought the song midnight rider was about a guy on a motorcycle, but I don't anymore, because I was out west in 1995 ran out of money in Salt Lake City Utah I hitch hiked to Amarillo Texas and ran into some tramps who ride freight trains and ended up riding a train out o Amarillo to Oklahoma stoped the night and the next night I caught another train to Memphis
