Although the song is dark I'm almost thinking it is about Christ not Satan.
Disciple of the cross and champion in the suffering
Immerse yourself into the kingdom of redemption
Harden your mind through the chains of the divine
Make way for the shepherd of fire
Disciple of the cross? Satan? Doesn't add up. Also the shepherd is something I associate with the lamb of God.
Reread that verse. He's talking TO the "disciple of the cross and champion in the suffering" telling him to "immerse [himself] into the...." and finally says to"make way for the shepherd of fire", where he's talking about 'himself'.
