I can't believe more people haven't commented on his body of work, specifically this one! What an amazing song! I love one of the last bits... "you and I, we've always been crows, hiding black wings beneath the snow." Makes me think of wearing masks to the rest of the world, in addition to the specific mention of yellow feet in the next stanza, which I read as some persuasion of cowardice, either to be who you are or for whatever reason, hiding from the world.
