I like this album alot. Like the production of the vocals towards the backing of the band. Wes' playing is great as always..
Many of the songs on Golden Cobra fall short.. its the usual "Im bad.. dont mess with me" and "haters gonna hate" stuff we're all too familiar with.
Kinda a shame. The lyrical potential is showing but messagewise we hear what fred has been saying in most uptempo songs.
What is interesting though is when fred goes emotional in those more relaxed songs where Wes plays more the clean channel and provides some interesting textures with his instrument.
