This band has sooo many beautiful, perfect pop songs, but nothing touches this one, to me. It's otherworldly and just feels like distilled yearning. (What happened? Did he lose the girl? Was she ever his? Who knows?) Such a perfect, dreamy, cathartic song to listen to over and over and over as a tormented, love-sick teen... and what's this, Google? These guys are back? I have to check 'em out...
