I think this is a traditional Anarch anthem/theme of Cyberpunk culture, like KMFDM's DIY song. It's a clear message to authority.
He's saying take apart institutions (media, gov, ideals, people) that hurt you and subjugate or coerce you into filling a role in society that exploits you. Destroy these institutions that condition your friends and family to hurt you for being different from the role you must fill. Try pretending your gay sometime for a week and see what happens. Try being an assertive woman for a week and see what happens. African American, Hispanic ect.
You may see what hell these people live when they do the simplest things their not supposed to do, that their role is not supposed to do.
It's best to improve these institutions to be less exploitative at their core. To promote the non-citizen to a citizen. Remember though, it must be destroyed to even start improving it :) best get your sledge hammer says good ol' Faderhead :D
Only after that well thought out improvement should another institution be built to protect "the people with less" as Vanzetti says to his child before being executed for a crime he didn't commit.
Also note both Faderhead and KMFDM use self-deprecating humor in these songs. "I like my ego trip" - Faderhead "KMFDM better than the best, maniacal but harder than the rest." KMFDM
