Be Good To Yourself Lyrics

Seeing as this song was on their last album, Raised on Radio (before their brief reunion for Trial by Fire in '95-'97) I feel like the lyrics are especially telling to what Perry was going through emotionally at the time, which ultimately lead to his departure from Journey the year after this song & album was released. The way he sings in the verses too - with a raw almost angry rasp/strain - you can definitely tell this song was very personal, almost like he was singing directly to Herbie Herbert, their manager.
