Well first and foremost a "Bourgeois" according to the dictionary, lol, is a person whose attitudes and behavior are marked by conformity to the standards and conventions of the middle class, knowing this, the meaning of this song is pretty straightforward.

It speaks of a person, a youth most notably, who lives in this world of comfort being in the middle class has it's perks but of course being in this state also brings one to becoming blind and disinterested of what is happening outside this world pretty much losing ones freedom in the process. A mind that is contented couldn't grow. It could also speak of a person who is never satisfied even when one already has pretty much everything that others could only dream of hence the line:

"Bourgeois Why would you care for more? They gave you almost everything"

But it also speaks of the person becoming blind because of the wealth that one has and the conformity it brings.

"You believed almost anything"

They can't have everything just almost, so that the person will be contented but not enough to be able to think for themselves.

well that was my two cents. lol I really don't know what I'm talking about here. :p

My Interpretation

@Emzee4life I agree with your opinion on this phoenix track, one of my most liked, It spells out for me, the devide of wealth between the have and have not,s economically in our capitalist world... I am an abstract expressionist painter and this is the equivalent in song...
